Richard was born in England where he grew up playing soccer. Richard played professional soccer for Brentford in England before injury cut short his career.After 2 years out he began playing semi pro and became involved in the coaching side of the game. Once finished playing became a head coach of several semi pro teams before becoming Oldham FC's (Division 1pro team England) chief scout for the Southern Region. Worked on Summer camps coaching soccer for Challenger Sports(British Soccer) and was awarded Coach of the Year in 1999.Richard has a UEFA B and a USSF A and has his International Diploma for SAQ (Speed , Agilty and Quickness) a fitness Diploma. The program is widely used for conditioning by EPL Clubs.Richard has a wealth of coaching experience at youth and the highest level. Richard is also a North Texas educator of coaches

John Romes

John grew up playing soccer in the Chicago area and played for a select soccer club in Arlington Heights, IL. His select team, which included former U.S. National Star Brian McBride, won a State Cup Championship and numerous league titles. John’s High School team, which was the #1 ranked team in the country by USA Today prior to his senior season, was also very successful, as they won Sectional, Regional, and Conference championships. John is a graduate of Kansas State University. John has spent the past 4 years with Triumph as an assistant coach, has also helped with the Junior Blues Academy, and is the Club Vice President. John is currently an assistant coach for the 92 and 96 girls’ teams. The development of future players to reach their fullest potential and acquire a life-long love of the game is why he is a part of Triumph FC. John currently holds his USSF National D License

99 and 96 Girls (Denton) Head Coach

Link began playing soccer at the age of three in our own Denton Soccer Association (DSA), Denton, Texas.  He played for the Denton High Broncos for all four years of high school.  He attended University of Dallas where he was a starting member of the Men’s Soccer team from 2002-2004.  In the Spring of 2005, Link transferred to Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas, where he was a starting member of the Hardin Simmons Men’s Soccer team.  While Link played for Hardin Simmons, they were the ASC Conference Champs and earned a trip to the NCAA Men’s Division III playoffs.  His soccer coaching experience includes DSA rec coach, graduate assistant coach for the Hardin Simmons Cowboys, and assistant coach of the Abilene Soccer Club ‘92 girls.  Since high school graduation, Link has coached at both the Denton Bronco Soccer Camps and the Hardin Simmons Soccer Camps.  Link graduated from Hardin Simmons in 2007 with a degree in Behavorial Sciences, Sports Fitness and Leisure Studies. Link currently holds a USSF “D” coaching license.
